Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that while our premium training equipment is handmade to order, all standard catalog items—including our standard 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0-inch diameter wooden gymnastic rings and parallettes—are fully eligible for returns within this 30-day window.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact us at roughroadfitness@gmail.com. Returns must be authorized first and shipped to our workshop address: 10 Cleveland St, Houlton, ME 04730. If your return is accepted, we will email you a return shipping label along with precise instructions. For standard customer returns, the cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your total refund amount. Items sent back to us without first requesting an official return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. For verified shipping damage or manufacturing defects, Rough Road Fitness will cover 100% of the return or exchange shipping costs.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Bespoke custom commissions built entirely outside of our standard catalog size specifications cannot be returned. We also do not accept returns for gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us immediately at roughroadfitness@gmail.com.
